The Event
Each year on January 27th, the Welsh Government commemorates all those who lost their lives during the Holocaust, through a memorial day event. This year’s 2023 event will consist of an entirely Video Produced Ministerial Address, followed by a number of readings, poems and performances by volunteer choirs, to finish with a prayer and silence.
Our Role...
Production 78 have produced this ceremony for the Welsh Government since Holocaust Memorial Day began in 2001.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, this in-person memorial was replaced with a fully produced pre-recorded ceremony filmed on location across Cardiff.
Most recently the event has returned to a full in-person event held at Cardiff's Temple of Peace.
Production 78 have offered a professional service to Welsh Government, meeting our specification at all times from concept to delivery.
The team are experienced in offering production services for high profile events such as the Wales National Service of Remembrance and Holocaust Memorial Day Commemorations and have supported the Welsh Government on a wide variety of events over the years always to a high standard.
