The Event
Two Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects managed by Highways England, with communications provided by Atkins Global. Providing improvement of the Wisley interchange to allow free-flowing movement in all directions, together with improvements to the neighbouring Painshill interchange on the A3 to improve safety and congestion across the two sites. Plus upgrade of junction 28 of the junction between the M25 anti-clockwise and the A12 in Essex, including the provision of a dedicated link for this right-turn movement and minor improvements of the existing roundabout.
Our Role...
Production 78 delivered full service event management, AV and technical services required to hold a 6 month long series of public hearings by the UK Government's Planning Inspectorate.
This includes use of our touch to talk microphone system, temporary internet, large format projection and digital screens to display plans, venue liaison and planning of all the requirements of this process for our clients for virtual, hybrid and in-person hearings.
Having used Production 78 for face-to-face hearings in late 2019 and early 2020, we were really pleased with the professional and seamless delivery of those hearings. The team were knowledgeable and efficient in their delivery. When, due to the pandemic, we had to move the last set of hearings to digital the team proved incredibly resilient and provided a faultless service.
During 2020 and early 2021 we had to deliver another set of hearings on a scheme and the whole process was delivered online by Production 78. Nothing was too much trouble and we had open communications directly to the team throughout the hearings which proved invaluable and functional. A great team, which made an often complex process - easy and enjoyable!
