The Event
Project 1million2.0 is a 24-hour charity spin cycling event organised by the mental health charity bigmoose.
The event's main goal is to raise £1 million to fund fast and accessible mental health therapy for people in need, with no waiting lists or criteria. The event featured 100 spin bikes, being ridden non-stop by teams or individuals, for 24-hours from midday on Saturday 29th November, to midday on Sunday 30th November 2025.
Our Role...
Production 78 supported the charity with planning this event from it's start to finish. We provided all the technical elements from CAD planning it's layout within the National Indoor Athletics Centre in Cardiff, to broadcasting the 24-hour event live on youtube. We had a rolling shift pattern to ensure there was a full production team on site for 48 hours. These staff installed all the barriers, furniture, technical equipment, staging, including an 8m wide rear projection screen for the event. Oh and we also rode a bike for 24 hours to rasie funds for this vital cause.
This was our biggest fundraiser ever,
but we felt confident using production 78.
They helped us facilitate a £310,000 fundraiser in 24 hours.
