The Event
The Yorkshire Green Energy Enablement (GREEN) project is a proposal by National Grid Electricity Transmission to upgrade and reinforce the high-voltage power network, so that more low-carbon energy can get to homes and businesses in Yorkshire and further afield.
Our Role...
Production 78 deliver event management, AV and technical services required to hold a 6 month long series of public hearings by the UK Government's Planning Inspectorate.
This includes use of our touch to talk microphone system, temporary internet, large format projection and digital screens to display plans, venue liaison and planning of all the requirements of this process for our clients.
Like many people I’ve done a number of DCO hearings on projects where the hybrid model is being successfully deployed. A key element to its success is with the AV team.
Each time I’ve been to hearings with Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP colleagues there’s been incremental improvements to enhance the user experience for both those attending in person and those joining virtually.
I’ve been very impressed with the teams at Production 78 Ltd. with their support and professionalism. Whilst there are no doubt other suppliers they really understand The Planning Inspectorate ways of working and have supported many of our clients with the hearings as part of the examination of their DCO applications.
